What is reduction?
It is one of the connecting elements used in reduction pipelines. The literal meaning of reduction is “to reduce”. Allows a pipe to be connected to a pipe with a larger or smaller diameter. That is, the reduction changes the diameter of the pipes in the pipeline.
The purpose of the reduction is to ensure that the fluid flows through the pipe without interruption. Reduction is used to increase or decrease the pressure in the pipe. Namely, to increase the pressure in the pipe, it is necessary to pass from a wider pipe to a narrower pipe, in the same way, to reduce the pressure of the pipe, it is necessary to pass from a narrow pipe to a wider pipe, and this process provides reduction. They are also used to prevent the formation of dead volume in the stainless reduction pipe and to prevent any deposits.
Stainless threaded reducer is a reduction with external teeth on one side and internal teeth on the other. The teeth that are outside of the stainless gear reductions are called the female teeth, and the teeth that are inside the male teeth. The purpose of these is to provide flow by connecting pipes with different diameters. These reductions are also known as hex bushings.
