It is produced by oxidation of methanol with oxygen. Methanol and formaldehyde are sent to the oxidation reactor as vapor. Most formaldehyde is produced from methanol. The remainder is produced by the partial oxidation of hydrocarbon gases with air or oxygen. This process is carried out under pressure. There are 14,000 pipes in the formaldehyde oxidation reactor and methanol turns into formaldehyde as a catalyst. We provide services in the chemical industry with our flow equipment and wide range of products to be used during these transformations and reactions.
