Compensators; They are expansion parts that absorb the thermal expansion along the pipe axis. The piping system is divided into various expansion sections within itself and isolated by means of fixed points. Thus, the movement occurring in an expansion zone is absorbed by the axial compensator used in this zone.
While the expansion joints are manufactured with standard 30 and 60 mm expansion, special productions are possible within other desired expansion values. Liner material is used optionally, to give smoothness to the flow and to cut the connection between the bellows and the fluid. Depending on the temperature and pressure of the fluid used, the bellows material, wall thickness and number of floors are designed.
Multi-node compensators are used to absorb high expansion amounts in very long pipelines. As the number of knots increases, the possibility of torsion of the compensator increases. Although this can be prevented with a certain amount of liner, the best solution is the application of External Pressure Compensator. It is also suitable to be used in fluids (eg hot oil etc.) where high safety values are required.
Here, by changing the direction of the fluid, the pressure is applied outside the bellows, and a compensator that can withstand high pressure and expansion amounts without torsion is formed.
