Fossil Energy Power Plants

Thermal power plants are power plants where the chemical energy of fossil fuels in solid, liquid or gas form is transformed into electrical energy. Mechanical energy is obtained by using the thermal energy in solid, liquid and gas form by burning the thermal source under suitable conditions and in suitable environment and by making use of the heat energy and expansion provided by the fuel.
