Heat Pump Systems
Heat pumps are systems that carry heat energy from one environment to another and consume electrical energy during operation. Heat pumps work according to the vapor compression refrigeration cycle like a refrigeration machine. The main difference between the two is that the cooling machine draws more heat from an environment to be cooled, allowing this environment to be further cooled. A heat pump is to keep an environment at a higher temperature.
